Description
1967 Family Dog Concert Production (Family Dog Chet Helms) actual postcard for mailing. As was the typical process the cards and posters were produced prior to the show and matched identically. TitledBreak on Through to the Other Side
the promotion for the Avalon Ballroom performance included Country Joe and the Fish, The Sparrow (The Sparrow eventually evolved into Steppenwolf) and The Doors. This artwork is listed as FD50 in Eric King's Collector's Guide. This the original vintage card roughly 5 x 7 designed by Victor Moscoso. The shows took place on March 3rd and 4th, 1967 at the historic Avalon Ballroom.

. The space operated from 1966 to 1969, at the height of the counterculture movement. The card is beautifully preserved in an archival thick plastic case, perfect for ongoing preservation.
