2004 Suzuki Vstrom DL1000, adventure/touring bike.
If you are looking for a Vee, this is the one. Set up for the larger, taller rider. I’m 260+pounds ATGATT and 6’3”. Comfort is key. Transmission: MANUAL 1 down-5 up. Bike runs, has tires that hold air, has a chain, has oil in it and blinker fluid reservoir is topped off. Bike has a few scuffs n’ scratches here and there but is in great shape overall. Bike just turned 60k miles and runs strong, not worn out.
Bike comes with GIVI hard side bags and Top case that are lockable and removable and I do have the keys. Good aftermarket tall windshield and OEM windshield. Pro Taper handlebar; mirror extenders; replaced OEM front brake master cylinder with a radial master cylinder. K and N air filter. Down 1 tooth on front counter sprocket with stock teeth at the rear sprocket. OEM Steering head bearings replaced with tapered bearings; Rear axle spacer mod to align chain with sprockets. Front fork stabilizer, aftermarket ‘Aloominumb’ skid plate; Aftermarket center stand; engine "crash bars"; Hand guards; Highway pegs; brake/turn signal lights integrated into top case LEDs; Elka rear shock and Front forks resprung for my weight and riding style. Improved, f’n loud horn; I have added some “watchout deers” driving lights; improved (modified by RealShelby, Tx style) clutch basket; Aftermarket height adjustable foot pegs w/ 1” foot peg lowering kit.  New charging system rotor; OEM seat and aftermarket Saddleman seat; speedo healer; power commander; external fuel filter mod.; some stickers that are good for at least “+1 HP”; some 12volt power outlets; Amp output monitor; battery tender outlet; Heated clothing outlets. No leaks, noises, or problems.
Valves within spec? Last oil change? Chain life? Needs new tires? You decide after purchase. With that being said, I will answer questions about this motorcycle that I have owned since new 2004. That’s One owner, me. I have taken my mother, as well as wife, on day rides over East Tennessee roads in all kinds of weather. Road into North Carolina on both tarmac and groomed dirt/gravel roads with no difficulty. Also, bike has been ridden in other states in this fair country of ours. Interstate speeds two-up full of luggage? No problem. Ridden, not abused. Garage kept at home. Garage kept at work. The Bike “Has Character”. Clean, clear TN title. Please, understand that this bike is for the rider with more than 1 riding experience. I am selling to purchase a dual sport adventure bike that's not yet available. I do not need help selling bike. No joy/test rides until cash is in my hand.
