Turned or Drawn, Ground and Polished Steel Round Bar is ground and polished to a fine surface finish (32 micro) and is produced to exact or slightly undersized (+0/-0.005) for slip fit into bearings and linear rail applications. 8620 Alloy Steel Round Bar is a low carbon, nickel, chromium, molybdenum alloy. The nickel content contributes to case toughness and core toughness, while the chromium and molybdenum support carburizing, to give good surface hardness and wear. Color Code: Blue/Purple
