Antique Art Nouveau Amphora Bowl Czechoslovakia 1920's.
An antique Amphora pottery jeweled bowl or cachepot, which can also be used as a vase, made between 1918 or early 1920's. The vessel has a wide glossy black rim with a matte body featuring stylized, hand-carved decoration accented with round and oval high-fired polychrome inset cabochon "jewels". Printed Amphora / Made in Czech-Slovakia mark inside a black oval underfoot. Very good condition with two hairlines, but hardly noticeable , measuring 8 in. D x 4 in. H.
