Antique Czech Arts & Crafts Porcelain Works Amphora, Fox & Grapes Design

Description

This charming antique faience Czechoslovakian amphora measures at 10″ H x 4 1/4″ D. The design is reminiscent of Aesop's fox and grapes theme.
It is in good condition, and the
wear is commensurate with age.
I never want my customers to have any surprises, so inspect the pictures closely regarding the
description below.
There is a small chip on base ( Pic #2) and a tight 3.5" hairline fissure (pics #6 & 7) inside only, which does not extend through the lip or the exterior of the vessel.
This most likely
occurred in the firing process.
There is one other small area  (pic #4) which apparently had a small drip of the white used on the fox above. Any other small flaws probably occured with use and wear,
are visible
in the photos, and do not detract from the overall look and charm of the amphora.
