BLUES MEMORABILIA Lot: MUDDY WATERS photo, press kit, flyer, postcard & fan
This lot consists of five Muddy Waters items:
* Publicity photo, c. 1971, 8x10 black & white, from the Willard Alexander, Inc., agency.
* Five-page press kit from the Willard Alexander, Inc., booking agency. Press kit includes title page, billing instructions, two-page biography, and a discography of albums. Judging from the album list of Chess and Cadet Concept LPs, this kit was produced in late 1971 or 1972.
* Mississippi Blues Trail souvenir fan with an image of the back side of the blues trail marker at the site if Muddy’s home at Stovall Farms near Clarksdale, Mississippi.
* The Voice of the Blues postcard showing Muddy on the cover of the book of Living Blues interviews (including an interview with Muddy).
* Muddy Waters (The Hoochie Coochie Man) flyer (8½ x 11) for dramatic/musical play presented by the Black Ensemble of Chicago in 1984.
All items are new or like new with minor age wear.
