The Freedom Drums Tribal Monkey Fish design PVC djembe drum features a synthetic Fiber skin head. The beauty of fiber skin head is that it does NOT absorb moisture in the air (like goat skin does) during periods of high dew points and high humidity, therefore rarely go flat, maintain tune, and require much less need for Mali Weave tuning

PVC drum body extremely light weight making the drum very easy to lug around.
PVC molded shell has very wide throat opening resulting in HUGE bass on center head bass strokes.
Roped tightly with 5mm internally braided high strength nylon rope resulting in crisp open and slap tones.
Protective rubber ring around the bass of the drum.
Highly attractive multicolored glossy finish.
Ideal for many hand drumming applications, including class-room settings, drum circles, traveler’s drum, etc.  Great drum for the novice and beginners.
Drum measures between 25"-26" tall with an approximate 14 inch diameter playing surface, and an overall diameter (including ring and rope hardware) of approximately 15.5 inches.  Freedom Drums Logo stamped on fiber skin head.
Comes equipped with a matching XXL size padded djembe bag and djembe strap.  Bag has two zipper taps at the circular lid, adjustable back pack style straps, frontal storage pocket, and embroidered Freedom Drums Logo patch.  Yoke style padded djembe strap easy to wear, adjustable, metal clips for easy attachment to your drum to enable playing while standing, and embroidered Freedom Drums Logo patch.  NOTE:  Color pattern on drum body will look more defined as compared to the bag and strap due to the lamination process on the drum body.
