    HUGE 20" TALL CZECH ROYAL DUX BOHEMIA ART NOUVEAU STYLE HAND PAINTED CENTERPIECE - COMPOTE            (1990's)
    This beautifully crafted pre-owned centerpiece features a woman & two cherubs holding up a "bowl".  Gilt trim.  Pastel colors.  Maker's mark on the bottom: hand painted - Made in Czech Republic - Royal Dux Bohemia.  The flesh on the figures has a matte finish while the rest of the piece has a glossy finish.  Lovely detailed work on fine quality porcelain.  See photos for details.  The piece measures 15" by 13" at the top of the bowl & stands 20" tall.  The base diameter is 9".  It weighs 12 pounds 11 ounces.  Good pre-owned condition.  There are some marks on the matte finish (last 2 photos).  A lovely collectible!!
