The Meinl Nino 6" Mini Djembe is a small drum for small hands. This instrument is perfect for introducing kids to percussion, and it sounds good, too. Any young musician will have a blast getting to hit this drum, and they will also be getting exposed to an instrument that is really useful to know how to play later.
This series of djembes comes in a lot of different colors, making it a good gift for any particularly picky children who may have an inclination for hitting things and making noise! The synthetic drum head is durable and will last through drops and wear-and-tear that only kids know how to really provide.
