PORCELEYNE FLES DELFT: 6 1/4" REFLET METALLIQUE VASE

Description

The Reflet Metallique line of art pottery was made by De Porceleyne Fles from 1892 until 1914. These were essentially Berbas pieces, over-painted with a new metallic reflective glaze. This usually resulted in a coppery-red over-glaze, with the Berbas under-glaze showing through to variable degree. In this vase, the underlying Berbas is dark blue, and the over-glaze is coppery-red. The vase is 6 1/4" high, and is in excellent condition.
