Royal American Shows 14k Gold and Diamond Belt Buckle The World's Largest Midway

One of Kind Royal American Shows 14k Gold and Diamond Belt Buckle " The World's Largest Midway " in great condition and about 1 3/4 inches wide. This is an incredible piece of Carnival History that must have belonged to someone very special, probably one of the owners or family members of Royal American Shows. The seal is enameled and surrounded by about 2 or 3 carats of diamonds that are set in Platinum, Palladium or white gold to show them off. The rest of the piece is 14k gold. Unmarked but assayed and guaranteed to be 14k gold. It weighs over an ounce and is about the size of a Silver Dollar.
One kind Ebay wrote me about this buckle.  He worked for Royal American shows nearly 40 years.  These are quotes from his E-mails.  "These belt buckles were given to "White Hats" on our midway. If I remember correctly, the belt was white and you had to have certain qualifications to get one. It was damn hard to earn your hat, much less that buckle. If you were given one, you had serious, decision-making and problem-solving authority second ONLY to Carl Sedlmayr Sr. or "Opa" as we called him."
"I know of at least two men still alive that should have one safely tucked away, maybe three but no more then that. I think perhaps, at best, twelve were ever made and I think that's stretching it."
