Condition: Vase is in excellent condition, having no chips, cracks, crazing, or odors, There is significant staining/discoloration on the underside bottom of vase and a few stray light marks or dirt on the body of vase. The dark mark on the inside of the vase looking down into it is a black mark under the glaze, not any kind of crack. Photos give false impression that the top part of vase has a brownish tint as compared to bottom of vase.The brownish tint is all in the photography and not on the vase.

"This is a very large (just short of 17" tall) Royal Dux vase from the period to 1900 to 1918 as identified by the pink triangle mark. It features a goatherd girl and her goats. It has the number 1225 on the bottom. It is 6" in diameter at the base widening out to more than 7" before tapering back in.Vase is in excellent overall condition, Please see detailed condition description above and all photos.
