    Description

    For sale today is a beautiful djembe drum. This djembe drum is vintage, it was pulled out of storage not long ago. The drumhead is covered in stretched African goat skin and secured by rope. The skin is in great condition, no rips or tears. It is tightly woven with cording and sits on a chalice shaped hand carved wooden piece. Historically, I understand, the wood is mahogany. It is in excellent used condition, needs some cleaning of dust, and the carrying loop has become detached, an easy fix, I assume. There is some scuffing and slight dings to the wood and two fissures on the wood base. See pics.
    This drum has a beautiful deep resonating sound. Wish I knew more.
