Vtg Candlestick Phone w/ Western Electric Ringer Box ~Repairman Owned ~ Works?

Description

Great looking Candlestick Telephone with Western Electric ringer box, direct from the vast estate of a man who spent his life as a telephone and electronics repairman. I don't know anything about old phones so I can't determine who made the phone or its exact age, but clearly it is old and in very good condition, at least cosmetically. Box is stamped Western Electric.
I am unable to test it to see if it works but note the three-digit area code and the new clip style wire which tells me it was in use within the last 30-40 years. I would guess that if it's not working it would not require much to get it fully operative. Overall it is clean with no major damage apparent (aside from a few scuffs, expected small dents to the box and a slightly frayed wire shown) and displays wonderfully. I can't tell if it was repainted or not.
